The family homeplace has been restored to as close to original as possible with the addition of a few simple luxuries including an outdoor pavilion and private hot tub. This little cottage is 480 square feet with 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Original boards, doors and windows from the house were saved and are once again a part of this amazing home.
Sitting on the edge of the 85 acre home place, guests can take a short stroll to the fishing pond, walk the paved road for exercise, build a fire in the backyard fire pit or say hello to our donkeys Martha and Annie. The area is peaceful, the wildlife are always sneaking around!

The Henry Family has had this property since the early 1900's. Grandma and Grandpa Henry built the home after their wedding in 1935 and raised 4 kids there, all of which Grandma delivered in the home! Grandma lived there until 2004. Over the years it was remodeled and additions were put on the front, back and side of the house. In 2016 we stripped the home back to its starting size and skin, using all the materials we could save. A bathroom, central AC/ Heat, electric, and running water are the only changes to the cabin from Grandma and Grandpa's original design.
