2025 Fairy Garden House Permit

Thank you for being part of a community project that helps transform Davey Dogwood Park into a magical trail for our locals and visitors.

Please complete the application below and we will reach out to you with your plot the week of March 10th.

Gardens will be judged based on
  • Use of natural product, as Gardens MUST be a MINIMUM of 90% decomposable
  • Color
  • Design
  • Creativity
Any non-decomposable or non-biodegradable items used to build the gardens will become the property of the Palestine Visitor Center to be used for future public garden projects.

Registration deadline: March 5, 2025
Project installation: March 15 - March 20, 2025
Judging will be completed between March 22 through March 23, 2025 and winners will be notified via email and social media post by March 24, 2025.

Please keep in mind that these gardens are meant to dispose of themselves naturally with the weather. Metal art, ceramics, solar lights, silk flowers, etc. are not ideal for the designs. We are looking for freebies found in nature and creativity vs big budget spends. Please do not tarp your gardens, this takes away from the aesthetic in the park. Since they are designed to weather, the judges will keep this in mind if we have had rain. You are of course welcome to go out the Friday before judging to make adjustments as well if you would like.

Awards will be sponsored by PennyLynn Webb and will be issued in the form of a Visa/MC Gift Card upon notification of each winner.

  • Project installation: March 12-22, 2021
  • Judging will be completed between March 23 through March 24, 2024 and winners will be notified via email by March 25, 2024.
Once you have submitted your application, we will send you an email with instructions as a verification that you registration has been received.
